Amy Koliner, Place Developer, The Musicant Group
As Place Developer at The Musicant Group, Amy is charged with driving the Friendly Fronts Project as well as providing business development leadership to the organization. Prior to The Musicant Group, she helped produce national events and provided sponsorship sales for celebrity party planner, David Tutera. She has also had a lengthy career in media sales - providing digital and print advertising sales expertise for companies such as Ogden Publications, Village Voice Media and Minnesota Monthly as well as events; Twin Cities Food & Wine Experience, City Pages’ Beer Fest, Mother Earth News Fair and others.
In her spare time, she founded a project called Twin Cities Lexicon of Sustainability which partnered with event production companies, caterers and community organizations to produce pop-up art shows promoting environmental awareness. Excluding Alaska (one day!), she’s been to every state in the United States and has experienced many amazing places.
Her influences include: Fred Rogers, Neil deGrasse Tyson, Merle Haggard, Wendell Berry, President Barack Obama, Marcella Bruning, and Theodor Seuss Geisel
Places that have influenced her include: Lewis & Clark Lake - Yankton, SD, the Oregon Coast, Healdsburg, CA, The Badlands, Haleiwa, HI, Todos Santos, Mexico, and her own front yard.
