Haley Lerner: Event Manager
Haley (she/her) is the Event Manager for the Community Management team focusing on the planning and execution of in-person gatherings and activations to cultivate and foster community.
Haley comes to the team with a background in corporate and non-profit event planning and project management. Prior to her work in events, Haley spent several years as a teaching artist and classroom facilitator for youth throughout the Twin Cities. Through her work within these two sectors, Haley has discovered the importance of bringing people together for a shared experience, which remains at the heart of what she does. She is excited to activate great spaces, that will bring great people together, to do great things. When Haley is not booking vendors, sorting out logistics or taking 30,000 steps a day on-site at an event, she loves spending time outside with her husband and one-year-old daughter, Eliza. Haley is also a master in the kitchen, running a Cottage Food Bakery out of her home, selling fresh, homemade bread. Haley created her own degree at the University of Minnesota and holds a Bachelor of Arts with Academic Concentration in Theater Arts, Child Psychology, and Youth Studies. Haley’s unconventional educational path set the stage for a career that focuses on creativity, connection, and collaboration. Her influences include: Julie Guidry, Shannon Sarna, Eve Barlow, Moms. Places that have influenced her include Stone Arch Bridge and Father Hennepin Park, The Gunflint Trail in the Boundary Waters, The Northwoods of Wisconsin, Machane Yehudah in Jerusalem, The Milwaukee Lakefront, Coogee to Bondi walk in Sydney, restored event spaces in the Twin Cities area.
